‘Red Six Standing By’

Despite having to be up at 7:15 to get ready for work…
Despite the fact that I am super exhausted and almost fell asleep a few times sitting up…
I still managed to put the new X-Wing together. So far out of all of the X-Wings (1999 version, 2004 Dagobah Version, and 2006 version) I am going to have to say this one is the best representation of an X-Wing lego has made. My only gripe is that X-Wings are actually grey/Metal in color and not White as shown here. The original Lego X-Wing that came out in 1999 was closer in color to than all the other ones. This weekend I will have to dig out all of the Lego buckets and get all of my Lego X-Wings out and take a picture of my mini-Rogue Squadron. I will say that I like the fact that they have been including alternate pilots and extra wing markings to make the ships for people other than Luke. This one and Porkins just takes the cake.

My next set will be a Y-Wing. I missed out on getting one the first time they came around, not that I wanted one really. I never was a big Y-Wing fan. I preferred the X-Wings and A-Wings. Also loved the Snow Speeders too…
